Follow execution to understand why
How does source code run? Why can a program be slow even on a fast CPU? Why might adding threads change the result? We start with concrete questions, then work through the terms, mechanisms, code, and conditions that explain them.

- Follow a learning path and read the textbooks in an order suited to your goal.

You do not need an account to read the textbooks. Published textbooks and topics still in preparation are clearly marked.
What we cover
The curriculum connects programming and computer fundamentals with operating systems, concurrency, networking, databases, security, and the systems that run AI. Our first published textbooks focus on the foundations, from executing code to understanding the operating system.
Writing and updates
Each textbook combines learning objectives, explanations, worked examples, questions to check your understanding, and references. We prioritize public specifications and official documentation when checking technical claims. When behavior depends on an implementation or environment, we describe those conditions in the text.
Textbooks include their update date and references. Please contact us to report an error or suggest an addition. We review reports and make corrections where needed.
